Una meets Tobias/Una upoznaje Tobiasa

Yesterday Una met Tobias, a sweet little boy. This actually wasn't their first meeting as they "knew" each other while they were both still in their mummies' bellies (Tobias's mum and dad, Lisa and Feiko, did the childbirth course with us and Tobias was born excatly one week after Una). So yesterday we spent a lovely afternoon with Lisa, Feiko and Tobias in their new housie, exchanging the experiences and scares of first time parents. Una and Tobias didn't care too much about the meeting and spent most of the time sleeping :). Tobias is absolutely gorgeous and looks like a real little man rather than a 5 week old baby.

Una je juce upoznala Tobiasa, slatkog malog deckica. Ovo i nije njihov prvi sastanak, jer se "znaju" od vremena kad su jos bili u maminim stomacima (Tobiasovi mama i tata, Lisa i Feiko su bili sa nama na prenatalnom kursu i Tobias se rodio tacno nedelju dana posle Une). I tako smo nas troje proveli prijatno popodne sa Lisom, Feikom i Tobiasom u njihovoj novoj kuci, pricajuci o iskustvima novopecenih roditelja. Una i Tobias se nisu puno potresali oko sastanka jer su ga uglavnom prespavali :). Tobias je presladak i izgleda kao pravi mali decko a ne beba od 5 nedelja.

Za fotoaparat! Sve vise i vise reaguje na nas, kad joj pricamo ili pravimo face...

Una is one month old!/Una je napunila mesec dana!

Yesterday we celebrated Una's one month birthday. It is hard to believe that it's already been that "long", the time has really flown by. The day before yesterday Una had her first check-up in consultatie bureau (antenatal clinic). She now weighs 5555g (just above one kg more than at birth) and is 57.5 cm tall. The doctor was very happy with everything except our sleeping story (shortly - Una sleeps well and in her crib at night but during the day she will only fall asleep in our arms). She told us that we have to teach her to fall asleep on her own even if it means letting her cry up to 5 minutes. No idea how we are going to do this :(. Other than that, she is a happy and healthy little baby and we are enjoying every moment with her!

* Una's shirt in the first photo says "50% Mummy, 50% Daddy, 100% cute". Right :). Next week I will post one of Mark's baby photos next to Una's and you will see that Mummy can pretty much be taken out of the math :)

Juce smo proslavili Unin mali rodjendan. Neverovatno je da je vec toliko vremena proslo, nama se cini kao da je juce bilo. Prekjuce smo isli na prvu kontrolu u consultatie burau (pedijatrijska klinika). Una je teska 5555g i visoka 57.5cm. Doktorka je bila super zadovoljna svim aspektima Uninog napretka osim nase price sa spavanjem u toku dana (ukratko - Una spava u toku noci u svom krevecu ali u toku dana zaspi samo kad je drzimo). Doktorka nam je rekla da moramo da je naucimo da zaspi sama i da je ostavimo da place do 5 minuta. Nemam pojma kako cemo skupiti snagu za to :(. Osim toga, Una je jedna zadovoljna i zdrava beba i mi uzivamo u svakom trenutku sa njom!

*Na Uninoj majici pise "50% mama, 50% tata, 100% slatka". Kako da ne. Sledece nedelje cu skenirati i postaviti Markovu sliku kad je bio beba pa ce biti sasvim jasno da mama moze sasvim da se izostavi iz te matematike :)
